Spanish term

pote

Spanish to English Medical Medical (general) rhinoplasty
Hi all -

I am translating a document about rhinoplasty and the surgeon is using the common word "pote," however I am not sure how to translate this into proper English surgical jargon.

Here is the context:
Luego e extraer la desviación desechamos las crestas y espolones oseos como se ve en la figura b y el resto lo conservamos en un pote con solución fisiológica.

Figure b does not show the "pote" for "el resto."

I am really loathe to translate it as pot or jar.

Any suggestions?

specimen vial

If you look for glassware or labware, you can usually find what you need. The following description looks like it could fill the bill:

"CryoClear™ self-standing internal thread 2mL tubes are designed for cryogenic storage and transport of biological specimens at temperatures as low as -196°C. ..."
