English term (edited): commodities

roba/proizvodi široke potrošnje

Underprice our key competitor in commodity categories
=
Undercut our key competitor by selling at lower prices goods that are in the categories considered as commodities.

you could define "commodities" by opposition to "branded/luxury/unique" goods.

Commodities are not necessary "basic goods", even goods or services one can perfectly live without could become commodities - for examples tourism practiced through tour-packages.

more about what is a "commodity":

"...
Full Definition of COMMODITY

"Commoditization

Part of a series on
Economic, applied and development

Not to be confused with commodification.

In business literature, commoditization is defined as the process by which goods that have economic value and are distinguishable in terms of attributes (uniqueness or brand) end up becoming simple commodities in the eyes of the market or consumers. It is the movement of a market from differentiated to undifferentiated price competition and from monopolistic to perfect competition. This is not to be confused with commodification, which is a Marxist term for things being assigned economic value which they (according to Marxist theory) did not previously possess, by their being produced and presented for sale, as opposed to personal use.[1]

One way to summarize the difference is that commoditization is about proprietary things becoming generic, whereas commodification is about nonsaleable things becoming saleable.

also:

"to become a commodity" za neku robu ili uslugu znači da se "prodaje na kilo/na metar/na komad" kao jedna masa proizvoda / usluga gde nema bitne razlike u ponudi od prodavca do prodavca.
Persijski tepisi ili gobleni nisu "commodity" svaki je drugačiji // itison je "commodity" prodaje se "na metar" i svi prodavci imaju sličnu ponudu.
