The wood treatment aspect of the present invention may furthermore include the step, after the dipping, of sticker-stacking or filleted-stacking of the wood, whereby an open stack of planks or boards of the wood is provided with air spaces therebetween, the method involving leaving the wood in such stack during the above described diffusion of the wood treatment salt into the wood, preferably so as to achieve full penetration of the salt into the wood, and, also, to permit subsequent drying of the wood. A particular feature of the invention is that the stack may be left open and exposed to ambient air for the entire period that the stack exists, ie from the time of dipping until the wood is dry.

ik heb nul ondersteuning voor dit antwoord, dus als het niet een beetje voor zich spreekt, kun je het maar beter niet gebruien.
Eenduidigheid wat sticker-stacked nou precies inhoudt, kwam ik binnen een paar minuten niet tegen, maar hier is een theorie.
Lagen van net-niet-rakende balken, gescheiden door 2 of 3 balken die overdwars liggen. Een beetje dus zoals een pallet in elkaar zit. Dit heeft als voordeel (als het goed en gelijkmatig gedaan wordt, dat je zo'n hele stapel vrij gemakkelijk kunt verplaatsen, en dat de meeste balken een minmaal aantal contactpunten heeft.
Hier zal vast wel een woord voor zijn, maar ik ken het niet, en kon het niet vinden.

Ik zou voor de zekerheid toch maar even de klant vragen wat ze nou precies bedoelen met sticker-stacked, want zonder de context zou ik het nooit met mijn antwoord associeren
