English term

bay

English to Hebrew Tech/Engineering Construction / Civil Engineering
The structural engineer first explained that the load capacity is not measured by the entire floor – e.g. the entire floor can support 80,000,000 lbs based on a 40,000 sq. ft. floor times 200 lbs. per sq. ft. – but is measured by each bay – i.e. the square area circumscribed by the steel beams that support that specific area.
