Discussion

Lydianette Soza (asker) Aug 12, 2006:
Question, before translating said terms What if next to Piirt appears, rather than a name a date such as:

Piirt: 14.02.2001 JAR
Tark: 14.02.2001 HIS
Hyn: 14.02.2001 HIS

Should it be translated as drawn inspected and approved?

I think it should be Piirt/Tark/HyV.

Abbreviations from the words Piirtänyt/Tarkastanut/Hyväksynyt. They are commonly used.

Yes, they always have the date there as well, i.e. when (and by whom) it was drawn, when (and by whom) it was inspected and when (and by whom) it was approved.

After the date they always put their initials, so JAR and HIS are initials.
