I am not sure how to translate "Auflösung" in this context.

I am translating specifications for a vehicle diagnostics system. These sentences describe specific timer parameters.

"Dieser Wertebereich gibt die minimale Nachlaufzeit eines Systems an. Der Parameter darf nur dann gesendet werden, wenn die Sub-Function EnableRapidPowerShutDown angefordert wird. Die Auflösung der Nach-laufzeit beträgt 1s/Bit"

"Timer
Diese Werte geben eine Zeit (Timer) zur parallelen Ansteuerung bestimmter Signal-Zustände vor. Die Auflösung erfolgt in Sekunden/Bit (1/s), d.h. maximal kann hiermit ein angeforderter Zustand für 250s gehalten werde."
