(rack) mount Explanation: I had enough sleep and will stick to my answer in the discussion above. A patch bay is rackmounted or rack-mounted. This applies only to patch panels that are mounted onto a rack, but they could technically be mounted onto anything (e.g., a wall). I'd simply go for mounting.
