German term

(weiter)reichen....erarbeiten (Signal)

German to English Tech/Engineering Electronics / Elect Eng closed loop control system
I am not sure what the signals do in English...

Here is the whole sentence and my current translation

In the software the signal is tranferred from the line end to the motor end and acquired.

This is from a manual about a closed loop control system and here is the whole paragraph for contxt:

Thanks for your input!

4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "Thanks Trudy and everybody. I had figured out "processed" by myself (and, yes "erarbeiten was a typo). And "route" works very well here."

(further) pass over .... execute (signal)

In the software the signal is passed over from the line end to the motor end and executed.

That’s how I understand it. Probably, there will be some others coming up with better suggestions.

to be processed

In the software the signal is passed over from the mains end to the motor end (in order) to be processed.

To keep it simple.

I am sure it should be *v*erarbeitet.
