German term

entfallend

German to English Bus/Financial Law: Contract(s)
Cancellation of contract penalty:

Does it mean there is a separate purchase price for the customer-specific options or does the "entfallend" mean it was omitted from the agreed-upon purchase price?

Discussion

Veronika McLaren (asker) Feb 12, 2012:
Basically what I thought, but proofreading always makes me doubtful...
Bernhard Sulzer Feb 11, 2012:
Johanna Timm, PhD Feb 11, 2012:

applicable to

omitted would be "entfallenen", not 'entfallenden

so, zuzüglich the purchase price for all.applicable o all customer--specific options

PS: although nobody would say "des gesamten auf kundenspezifische Optionen entfallenen Kaufpreises;

and it should be "kundenspezifische" (accusative) in the original, not "kundenspezifischen" (dative).

basicaly it just means "payable" (in the sense of "to be paid by")

Note from asker:
Thanks for the straightforward suggestion - that "entfallen auf" often gets me confused.
