Coming from Paderborn via Bundesstrasse:
via B217 to Tönniesberg Kreisel (roundabout) heading for Ricklingen until Ricklinger Kreisel (roundabout) exiting in direction of Centrum (City) via Friedrich Ebert Strasse, turn right onto Ritter Brüning Strasse becoming Lavesallee, follow to Friederikenplatz and turn right onto Friedrichswall up to Aegidientorplatz.

agree tectranslate ITS GmbH : Definitely, if you're not referring to a "Karussell". According to LEO, it's "rotary" in AE, btw. Traffic circle should be fine, too.

in the US if its different highways splitting off a [circular] hub. (Kreuzung is an intersection). In case of local traffic, it's a traffic rotunda

'roundabout' is no more than an 'Umweg' (though generally called a 'diversion'), eg., because of road construction.
