Controsoffitti radianti ad isola.

I would tend to say simply ""radiant ceiling panels"" but is there some way of emphasing the "ad isola" bit. To say Island radiant ceiling panels seems a bit garbled in my mind and I can't find any references in brochures or technical depliant.

free-standing

mi pare di capire che si riferiscano a pannelli che si possono montare come unità singole, non necessariamente integrati nel soffitto o in una struttura di supporto, un po' come le cappe ad isola nelle cucine, o i frigoriferi non integrati, che si definiscono appunto free-standing.
