A translation in a catalogue I found translated the German "Korn- (polypen)- zangen" with "polypus and dressing forceps", but that's all I've been able to find so far.

tweezers. according to Oxford English Dictionary means "minute pair of tongs for taking up small objects, plucking out hairs etc."
