Z being the parish.
As this is somewhat antiquated language, I'm trying to find a terminology that applies to that period. "Reading of bans ?"

Believe it or not! The banns was (and still is if applicable) read in the end of three successive Sunday mass for the congregation to voice their opinion about the upcoming wedding. Nordstedts has "ta ut lysning" as "ask to have the banns published", so you can use "the banns has been published".

I hesitated as Nordstedt says “banns “ is singular but choose 3rd person in the end,

: I think most say the banns WERE read, complicated because in the parish I know, there are often two or more couples having their banns read each week. It/ they are read three times, so I suggest plural or say, ´XX had the banns read´ to avoid the issue!
