the loss of a right
Depends whether that's how your sentence ends or whether it then says which right is lost, and depending on how you're expressing it in English. If the latter, it could be better as "the loss of the right to..." or, re-writing, "losing the right to.."

defeasance of interests
Depends what the rätt is or are. If an estate in land, then defeasance - that sometimes Googles with a one-sdied definition and seems to be unknown to Gullberg - could be the term.
