counselling service for rleatives/family members
This is a municipal counselling service for people who are caring for a loved one with a disability or drug problem and need support. I need to find the most appropriate term. I've seen "family care consulting", "Support for relatives" "counselling" and a host of others. Anyone know what this is called in the English speaking countries?

Comment: "Thank you, you nailed it. "Carer support" wasn't wrong so honourable mention to Norskpro."

: A carer is not necessarily related (anhörig) to the person receiving help - although I think 'carer' is a better term.
