I do

I am almost always underbid, so it's rare that I get stuck with more than I can handle. And I often work on two jobs at the same time. Even if I don't get the job, I figure it's just a good way to get my name out there and advertise my services.

Even if I am in the middle of a job, but I got a job posted which is of my interest or I know the job poster, I try to bid for the job. Sometimes, I have experienced that my client has extended the deadline on my request.

Cause "to qualify for a project" obviously includes also being available for the new project. If I see that the deadline and the word count are impossible for me to handle, I don't bid. That easy? Yes, that easy. Happy New Year everyone
