If you're using MS Word 2007 (perhaps this is true in 2010): Click the Review tab; in the "Proofing" group there's an icon that shows "123" and below it, "abc" Clicking on it will give you all sorts of information: pages, words, characters with spaces, characters without spaces, etc. If you're using Word 2003, Click the "File" tab, go to "View document properties", then click the "Statistics" tab. You'll get the word/character count there. Of course, the specific ...
