Tips for using Trados to translate LB XLZ files?

Seeing that Trados handles LB's XLZ files and can export them back as XLZ I was wondering if any other LB linguists have used Trados instead of the ugly TW XLIFF Editor for their jobs?

Do you have any tips or suggestions of things to avoid?

Drawbacks?

Is there a way to connect to the TM token/name with Trados or must we run the exported files from Trados back through TW XLIFF Editor?

LTB check seems to work fine too.

Would love to hear others' experience with this. Have you told your PMs you're using Trados not TW? (I doubt if they would allow it?)

I figure this would be a similar scenario, and have looked into the TWS Extract TM file you shared.
