Another fine entry! (as Christine might have squeaked)

We'll have to have a think about the Santa thing - you've caught me switching off the TV and going to hit the sack. But what a great list of recent stuff! There were a few there I'd forgotten about, too.

Another worthy and ultrafrivolous entry! Or the door of the Dog and Leek!

And the thread might be a load of ****, Tom, but it's our load of ****. And yours. More yours than ours, in fact.

Marmite Dec 1, 2020

Who could imagine a December without Marmite? That delicious, viscous and tasty spread that can kick-start your day – or any other part of the day, for that matter. If nothing else by making some uninitiated buffoon run away screaming.

Marmite II Dec 1, 2020

Too right, Thomas. I found myself looking for it on the supermarket shelves the other day, but no. It was one of the smaller supermarkets, though. You can get it here, if my memory serves me right. I've tried to promote it, but there's just no way.

Ladies and gentlemen, there's something missing in that list Dec 1, 2020

We are forgetting Melville, the dog in the painting, "les croissants", the Oporto mini travel guide, and the sweet Aeros!

You either love it or hate it, but I feel a benign indifference towards it. Whatever floats your boat.

The simplest option I've found is to order it from Amazon UK. It hasn't been stopped by German customs yet. It would be a 'jarring' experience if you were to run out of it.
