I like Wiki, it's got a bit of everything and can give you a quick overview of the subject matter.

Then my favourite bit comes at the end, with the list of references. I once actually sent a link to a wiki page to a client to show them where I got some terms from, because it listed the pages from the WHO and UNICEF websites.
As a starting point for serious research, and for quick little questions I know the answer to but that my brain won't supply off the cuff.
