Veo que la tesis está disponible públicamente en Internet. "cross-hierarchical" en este caso no significa que (en las condiciones estudiadas) haya un cruce, un intercambio de uno por el otro entre los núcleos talámicos FO y HO (que se traduciría como "jerarquía cruzada"). Por ejemplo, en "This indicated that after enucleation, the axons did not just pass through the FO dLGN, but they sprouted abnormally demonstrating HO-like characteristics, which confirms the cross-hierarchical rewiring effect." Aquí se está indicando que se atraviesan las jerarquías, no que se intercambian. Lo mismo en otras partes de la tesis. Por otro lado, veo que en todos los muchos casos registrados en ProZ KudoZ y sus glosarios, hierarchy o hierarchical siempre se traduce como jerarquía o jerárquico, porque la correspondencia de los términos en inglés es exacta. |
