I am from San Juan, Puerto Rico, my native language is Spanish, but I have been translating for some years. Working in an international airport for twelve years, made me a translator by trade, it forced me to practice and perfect my English. I have taken courses in Writing with Penn Foster, and I am currently studying Translations with USC San Diego, and started working with Translators Without Borders to start getting experience. I have a particular interest in stories; with a diploma from NYIP on Photojournalism, learning through stories and issues from all over the world, places I will probably never see, makes volunteering with TWB a highly educational experience. |
