BA Degree in Translation and Interpreting (English, Italian and French into Spanish) from the Spanish University of Salamanca.
I began my career as in-house translator and interpreter at Avilés City Council, working in different and several fields, which provided me with the opportunity to improve my personal and professional knowledge and skills.
After this period, I began to work as a freelance translator, which I combined with working at the Arts & Exhibits Municipal Centre. Shortly after, I am appointed as Secretary/ Administrative Assistant at the Escuela Municipal de Cerámica (today Factoría Cultural), where I worked for 5 years.
Translation and languages have always been involved in may day-to-day tasks, as these institutions have led or participated as partners in several European projects, for which I have translated different types of documents (minutes, reports, proposals, financial claims, etc.), attended meetings as interpreter or provided interpretation work for artists exchanges and study visit delegations, both in Avilés and abroad.
