 My name is
Peter. I am a German native speaker and have been a freelance translator for
over 14 years. Sixteen years ago, Sweden became my purpose in life, its
language and literature, its linguistic science and the history thereof. I am
exceedingly fluent in Swedish, both written and oral. To underscore this
ability, I adopted Swedish as my second language, absolving a two-year
linguistic study, which culminated in a nationally recognized exam on Swedish
linguistics. The major content of these studies, and the focus of the exam, was
philology and literary history.

I bring
from Germany a completed journeyman baker apprenticeship with 5 years of
professional experience. I also absolved an education in logistics management,
having passed my finals at the Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Hannover,
before moving on to gather 7 years of experience on the transport and logistics
sector in Germany, and a further 10 years on the Swedish transport and
logistics market. The result of all this is an extraordinary competence in the
transportation industry, with all its manifold technical areas, in both
languages.

 My
well-filled portfolio contains comprehensive experience and in depth knowledge
on hunting firearms technology. Here, my area of expertise covers translations
of advertising brochures, hunting firearm user’s manuals, replacement parts
lists and technical diagrams. I am also available for technical translations
regarding the food industry and nutritional sciences, as well as bakery and
confectionary technology and their trade-specific business economics. In
addition, I am an experienced translator for texts concerning motorcycle
technology, medical, boating and politics, and possess qualified skills in
accounting, taxation and business management in general.

 My deep and
burning passion for literary translations completes my portfolio. One current
