I got the same email, and I haven’t been shopping around for loans. I reported this to ProZ from the Report Scams link in the email.

Pure coincidence, absolutely nothing to do with what you'll find if for a change you take a look at the Terms and Conditions of most websites, especially the section that usually starts with "we care about your privacy ...". Most often ending with a very visible button "Agree to all".

But if you really look around, you can also find hidden few clicks away (the Web equivalent of "small print" ...) a list of 500 - 600 - 700 companies that you agree to follow you around and record all and every of your clicks, your location, the make of your computer etc etc. Nothing but a coincidence.
