Bio
My love of languages led me to start freelance translating in 1998. Having divided my time between the United States and Finland, I am bilingual. Cross-cultural education and linguistics hold a special interest for me, and my translating projects range from education to medical to the arts. I studied English Literature, Linguistics, and Phonetics at the University of Turku, Finland. For eight years as a substitute teacher in the United States I taught English as a Second Language, Music, and Language Arts. I aided in speech pathology sessions and in the Special Education classroom. I have written "Holidays in Park City, Utah", published in Travel Planning Guide magazine.
