I am a graduate of Trinity College, Dublin from the Department of European Studies. I specialised in Russian language and cultural studies (with a minor in French studies) and received a First Class Honours award for my undergraduate thesis “Putin’s Civil Society: Is the Kremlin Manipulating Russia’s Independent Third Sector?”. I have also completed a number of courses in international relations, globalisation and development, sociology, and economics.

I currently work as a freelance Russian-English editor and translator. My primary clients include the multinational translation company, AWATERA, and the Russian journal ЮНЕСКО Вестник (UNESCO Vestnik). This journal is published in both Russian and English and is distributed to embassies and consulates throughout the Russian Federation.
