Bio
Oh, hi there! CELTA-qualified teacher and trainer here 🙋. I've been teaching Business English since February 2019 and Romanian to speakers of other languages for more than four years.
A lifelong learner with a deep interest in continuous professional development, I hold an MA degree in Teaching Languages focusing on English and Romanian as foreign languages.
The question is, how did it all start? Well, having completed my BA studies in Translation and Interpreting in 2014, I worked as a freelance translator for about a year. Due to my curious nature, in the meantime, I have also gained more than two years of experience in the corporate environment in the customer service and partner support areas. That til I fell in love with teaching and decided to change paths. I still translate while volunteering with TWB, whereas my experience in a multinational business area helps me in my current role to tailor my courses to the students' needs and the outside world.
Learning is a two-way street. Languages open doors to new worlds. And these are only two of the reasons why I love what I do!
