From 2001 to 2003, 2004 to 2005, and May to July 2008, I worked as an in-house translator for BBVA Research in Madrid. During this time, I was responsible for translating reports and recommendations on equities, securities companies, IPOs, and more. Additionally, I undertook various translation projects for different departments within BBVA, SA.
In 2003-2004, I had the opportunity to work at Elzaburu, S.L.P., a specialized company in intellectual property, legal matters, and trademarks. During my time there, I gained valuable experience in these areas.
Furthermore, from July 1999 to March 2003, I played an integral role in the preparation of a new range of dictionaries for Cambridge/Klett. These dictionaries were developed in Compact, Pocket, and Gem formats, catering to different needs and preferences. Working on this project allowed me to enhance my skills and knowledge in the field of lexicography.
Lastly, in 2015, I had the privilege of working as an in-house translator (implant) in Ciudad Banco Santander for a period of nine months. This experience provided me with further insight into the banking sector and allowed me to contribute effectively to their translation needs.
Throughout my career, I have consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to delivering accurate and high-quality translations. I have acquired a deep understanding of various fields, including finance, intellectual property, and lexicography, enabling me to provide comprehensive and reliable linguistic solutions.
I currently have two main clients in 2024. The first one is a medium-sized translation agency with whom I work regularly on various types of translations, including for a IBEX35 company valued at 4.68 billion euros, and occasionally for other IBEX35 companies. The second client is an important agency in Madrid for which I translate texts for the Spanish Securities Market Commission and other IBEX35 companies.
