@ fuad I appreciate your regular help and sincere contribution. Sorry for any unintentionally mistakes.

Wrong is wrong إن الحق والباطل لا يُعرفان بأقدار الرجال. اعرف الحق تعرف أهله، واعرف الباطل تعرف أهله

I don't care to whom this passage is attributed, but I expect that you know enough about Arabic grammar to recognize that اصبح قارىء عظيم is contrary to the most basic rules of Arabic grammar.

I also hope that you can see that the expression وسرعان ما بلغ أشده simply does not make sense. If you cannot see that immediately, you should research the expression.

As I said, we might be able to guess what the writer possibly meant. What we know for sure is that the correct meaning of the expression is incongruous with the context.

@Fuad The text belongs to one of the great holy koran readers . I just copied that few phrases.
Fuad Yahya Jun 18, 2020:
Please clarify your preference Do you wish to have a translation of بلغ أشده as understood correctly in Arabic, or as used in this poorly written text?

The writer is not only ill-educated in Arabic grammar (notice قارىء عظيم), but is also poorly read (certainly has not read the Quran, where بلغ أشده is used correctly). The writer is using expressions he/she does not understand.

There is a difference between بلغ أشده as correctly used and as used by this writer. In fact, what the writer really means is not clear, but we can guess.

So which translation would you like?

reaches maturity

This is a Quranic phrase. This is the verse: [He grows] until, when he REACHES MATURITY and reaches [the age of] forty years, he says, "My Lord, enable me to be grateful for Your favor which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents and to work righteousness of which You will approve and make righteous for me my offspring.
