Does anyone have suggestions for settings in wordfast that are specific to Norwegian translation?
(Pandoras Box, fuzzy threshold, glo_stem, etc.)
Or Danish - I suppose that my work, too?

Settings in Wordfast work for all languages.
I guess I am not 100% sure what you mean. I do not know any special settings that apply just for Nordic languages. My best advise would to read the manual thoroughly and try to use Wordfast to your best advantage.

I was thinking of:
1) Segmentation, where numbers ending with a full stop in Norwegian (1.=first, 2.=second) end the segmentation at the dot, instead of recognizing the number as the abbreviation for first, second and finishing the sentence. How to fix this?
2) glo_stemming
what would be the optimal setting of
GloStemming=A,B,C
and GloStemming=5,4,2
adapted to Norwegian?
3) Glo_stripping

Should these be the basis for glo_stripping, or is it worth the bother to use this tool at all? What is the point, if glossary search works without it?

Regarding your "glossary questions": I do not use the glossary stemming or stripping. The setting that works best for me is to turn off fuzzy, and enter the terms with * as explained in the manual. I believe that these setting also could be applied to Norwegian, but should not be use in all cases.

Since I do not work in Norwegian I have not tried to change the segmentation rules.
What I do know is that you can force segmentation when you approach a sentence with a full stop like "1". by pressing shift and arrow down. This is possible without closing the segment you are working with.
I have done some easy testing and when I translate, Wordfast behaves well, and segments the sentences correctly. For instance:
"Det fantes en gang et hus der det 2. huset i rekken var stilt opp på skrått."
Wordfast segments this as one sentence, not two (that would be the case if "2." was a problem).
My regular settings for segmentation was standard (recommended settings) when I tried this.
