English term

to be ringing in

English to French Bus/Financial Business/Commerce (general) Letter
Dear Team,
I’d like to wish you all a very happy New Year!
I am thrilled to be ringing in 2021 with all of you.
As we enter this new year, I’d like to take this occasion to reflect back on 2020, and consider the opportunities before us.

Merci !

célébrer

Bonjour Robin,

"To ring in the New Year" est une expression signifiant fêter la nouvelle année.

'ringing in' is used in a fairly small number of contexts — the underlying idea being the ringing of (church etc.) bells to indicate (usually happy) news: a marriage, the start of a new year, a victory in war, etc.
Similarly, in other more figurative senses, like "the appointment of the new Chairman rings in a new era for our Company"
Not a dissimilar sense from 'ringing the changes' — though here with no 'in'; but still referring to the use of bells...

commencer une nouvelle année

Normally I would translate this with "célébrer le Nouvel An", but in this context, I suggest "commencer cette nouvelle année avec vous" instead.
This is clearly a professional email sent from a manager to his/her staff ("Dear Team"), so we can assume they did not celebrate the actual New Year together. Instead, he/she is simply thrilled to be starting a new year with his team around him/her.
