Source text - English Cybersecurity awareness refers to how much end-users know about the cybersecurity threats their networks face, the risks they introduce and mitigating security best practices to guide their behaviour. End users are considered the weakest link and the primary vulnerability within a network. Since end-users are a major vulnerability, technical means to improve security are not enough: organizations must also provide security best practice guidance for end users' awareness of cybersecurity. They should teach employees about common threats and how to avoid or mitigate them.
Translation - Portuguese A conscientização sobre cibersegurança refere-se ao quanto os usuários finais sabem a respeito das ameaças de segurança presente nas redes, dos riscos que estas apresentam e as práticas seguras que devem orientar seu comportamento. Os usuários finais são considerados o elo mais fraco e a principal vulnerabilidade dentro de uma rede. Por isso, medidas técnicas para melhorar a segurança não são suficientes. I received a college degree in Information Technology from Faculdade Impacta de Tecnologia and I have extensive IT working experience, having provided IT support for global companies together with co-workers from various countries.
