Do you think that Schedule of account could be a synonym of Chart of accounts (Plan comptable), or should it be translated as "Tableau de comptes" ?

Some context: It is the title of an online help for a stock & accounting software.
This is the only expaination available:
"You can enter or change ledger account numbers with this module"

l'an fiscal

Schedule of account (singular) seems to imply when the balance sheet is prepared and for what period. If it had been in the plural then I would agree with "tableau de comptes". . . . .

suite à votre note: dans ce cas, il semble bien s'agir en effet du plan comptable (dont les numéros sont reportés dans les livres de comptes)

disagree DadK : Un software travaille sur le principe de 'chart of accounts'; donc, ici il serait peut-etre mieux de parler en terme de nomenclature. Le tableau ... est normalement reservé pour illustrer un travail achevé

?? où voyez-vous qu'il s'agit d'un software?? et justement je n'ai pas proposé tableau ? notez en outre que nomenclature comptable est également proposé
