"Potomu chto my zabotimsia:
Then lots of things are given, including "o proyavlenii radosti, optimizma i aktivnosti kazhdogo nashego sotrudnika."
Does this just mean that they want all their staff to LOOK happy etc (rather than necessarily BE happy!)

The way you described is actually how it sounds! Sure, they didn't want that to sound that way, neither they wanted their employees NOT TO BE HAPPY, but that's their own fault, I guess)

: yes, but without "look", just "our staff is cheerful..." (see Mikhail's note); dunno, here every sales associate's supposed to be happy to see you and be very upbeat and optimistic
