Concernant "nidation" en anglais. Il faut lire soigneusement les références sur Internet, y compris la nationalité des auteurs. Nidation est apparemment utilisé par des auteurs allemands. Il faut aussi, comme d'habitude, verifier le contexte.

Pregnancy Category C.
Use of XXX is not recommended in pregnant females. There are no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women with XXX. Delayed parturition and embryotoxicity (as evidenced by increased postimplantation losses, delayed development and reduced fetal weights) were observed in rats at oral doses of 40 mg/kg/day and above (approximately 10 times the maximum recommended human oral dose based on mg/m2). Delayed postnatal development, attributed to decreased body weight, was observed in offspring of rats at oral doses of 10 mg/kg and above during late gestation and lactation periods (approximately 2 times the maximum recommended human oral dose based on mg/m2).

J'ai aussi pensé à "pertes post-implantation", ou "pertes post-implantatoires" (quelques clicks sur Internet avec ce terme).

neutral Marilyn Amouyal : It was better without the additional note. In a normal pregnancy, implantation of the embryo in the endometrium is a natural process; it is not inserted.

I am not sure whether this meant after embryo implantation or after a drug implant.
neutral Catherine GUILLIAUMET : N'ayez aucune inquiétude, toute la phrase prouve qu'il s'agit du dossier d'expertise des études précliniques, chapitre "toxicité pour la fonction de reproduction". C'est absolument typique !! Absolument impossible de confondre avec un implant médic.

J'ajoute que dans les modèles de l'AFSSAPS (ex-Agence FR du médicament), non divulgués mais dont j'ai une copie imprimée ici, pour les études de toxicité sur la reproduction, le tableau résumé obligatoire indique "pertes post-nidation". Bien sûr, "post-implantation" existe, et en de nombreux exemplaires, mais c'est du franglais : on a pris l'anglais et on ne s'est pas cassé la tête :-(

Effectivement, la "perte post-nidation" chez l'animal, correspond à l'avortement spontané précoce ou fausse-couche spontanée précoce chez la femme. La nidation décrit le phénomène d'accrochage de l'oeuf fécondé dans (en fait, à la surface de) la muqueuse utérine, à la sortie de la trompe de Fallope (chez la femme).

Aucun doute sur votre réponse et vos réfs. Reste a choisir entre "nidation" et "implantation". Car j'ai l'impression que "post-nidation" existe aussi en anglais. ..

agree Marilyn Amouyal : Mon dico (médical) indique "nidation" (FR) = "implantation" (EN). Comme indiqué par Catherine, il existe des modèles pour ce genre de document.
