Same essay as my other questions, to introduce an art exhibit:
Encuentro, que si bien la realidad cultural de México influye de manera enfática en nuestros artistas, también alcanza a impactar a algunos creadores del otro lado de la frontera. Del mismo modo, las búsquedas cosmopolitas que tienen creadores trabajando en Tucson y Santa Fe, son también compartidas por pintores, escultores y fotógrafos provenientes de ciudades de México.
Estas referencias coincidentes no debieran explicarse bajo la premisa simplista de una falsa globalización, sino por el contrario, por la particularidad nativa de los tiempos y los cosmos en que se mueven y cohabitan los artistas mexicanos y estadounidenses en esta particular región de los dos países. La coyuntura, excepcional, nos demuestra que la naturaleza del arte actual es la de ignorar ciertas fronteras preestablecidas y a la vez, establecer otras muy distintas a los nacionalismos ideológicos.

I'm assuming you're looking for alternatives to the obvious choice, which would be "native particularity." I think the author is both setting up a contrast to a sort of generic globalization there are similarities between the work of artists in Mexico and those working in the American Southwest not due to recent global histories, but due to deep, shared, specific, and local histories. If you prefer something other than "native," I think autochthonous carries the same dual sense of generally deep local roots and specifically indigenous/"native" in the Native American sense.

group consciousness born of the times and the cosmos
"group consciousness" is a consciousness which is simultaneously shared by all the members of the group - which they all draw from and contribute to simultaneously. That is why they often produce similar work at the same time, although they are far apart physically.
