CENTER FINDER TOOL
The center finder tool is meant to act in one of two ways:
1. The first method is as a training (or permanent if desired) tool. The tool fits over the crucible and helps locate where the suction cups should be placed – front to back, top to bottom – based on the crescent cuts of either side. It is expected with operator experience, the need for this tool will diminish.
2. The second method is as a template. When the crucible is first removed from the shipping box, the tool can be placed on top and outlines can be drawn on the crucible’s outer wall using the crescent cuts as a trace. Again, the outlines will help locate the suction cups – front to back, top to bottom – but without need to constantly place and remove the tool each time it is lifted.
