@LittleBalu Thanks. I re-read the sentence, only to realize that you are right :-) The brackets are correctly put, as they are. However, the "(ergibt...)" part is best understood if read in continuity with the text after the closing bracket.

@David: Unless I'm mistaken, "Bezug" (Jahresbezug) is missing in the last line: "annual net total SALARY/INCOME of EUR..."

Obviously the brackets are in the wrong position To make sense, the entire sentence "ergibt ein bestehendes Inlandsgehalt netto" should have been put into brackets. Ditto for "ergibt für die Entsendung einen Jahresbezug gesamt netto".
