Spring cleaning and summer projects bring nearly 9,000 customers to Lowe's home improvement stores each week, and this season PepsiAmericas will be there to greet them at the door. As a long-time PepsiCo customer, Lowe's provided Gatorade and snacks to consumers for years, but they recently sought out new channels of revenue with carbonated soft drinks.
PepsiCo presented this opportunity to the bottling system via the Joint Account Call Team (JACT). Keith Melaragno, vice president of sales for PepsiAmericas, is a member of the team, which also comprises representatives from several large independent bottlers.
