It's a pleasure to compare ideas through these Kudoz forums. I learn a lot from you and the others that offer translations and really enjoy the long-distance comraderie. Recently the Spanish author Javier Marias said in an interview that a text to be translated is like a musical score. Various translators can express it differently while still being faithful to the original (very technical terms aside, of course). I enjoy seeing so many variations. Have a nice afternoon!

agree Richard Boulter : 'Facebrick' is the word used in construction in the U.S. Margaret's great ref's define it wonderfully, but for the book title I think your client will be happier with this suggestion. Regards, All!
