French term

PV unitaire HTVA

French to English Bus/Financial Accounting Quantités vendues * PV unitaire HTVA - remise
This is a free standing spreadsheet entry, therefore very little else to show for context. My question is about PV unitaire HTVA. I know HTVA means "excluding VAT", is there not an English abbreviation for that as well? Thanks for your suggestions!

That's €30.76 before VAT, of course, so your extra over will be 30 x 12 x (30.76+19.6%) = €2170.43, making the all-up price €13,244.03 incl. VAT. I'd try negotiating a discount if I were you.
Bourth (X) Jul 31, 2011:
Beware PV could stand for plus value.

If you have ordered 60 dozen flipperzandas and subsequently decide you actually want 30 dozen of them to have the optional flashing electronic felaclappers, i.e. the top of the range in the flipperzanda line, costing €30.76 more than the bog-standard model you first ordered, your supplier might decide not to change your original order/invoice, but simply charge you for plus value over and above the initial price.
Nikki Scott-Despaigne Jul 31, 2011:
PV Agree with Rebecca. PV = prix de vente, so yes, for "unit sale price excl. VAT".
Rebecca Davis Jul 31, 2011:
PV unitaire is the unit sales price and I would use excl. VAT as an abbreviation here

unit price ex VAT

If you're a bit short of space, 'ex VAT' is perfectly acceptable here.
