Could anyone please help me with the translation of "GMM's" in the following context?
These enzymes normally are present within an enzyme complex, but may also be available in purified form, either by purification from complex pectinases or directly produced with *GMM’s*.

I think GMM stands for Genetically Modified Microorganisms, inthat case MMG would be the Spanish direct equivalent (Microorganismos Modificados Geneticamente)

Roxana is correct. The acronym "OMG" is more commonly used in Spanish to refer to "organismos genéticamente modificados (OGM)", but in this case you need "microorganisms" [microorganismos genéticamente modificados (MGM)]. HT helps to clarify.
