Pour moi, 'sales' désigne ici le service commercial. Lead peut être entre autres traduit par 'contact (commercial)' ou 'prospect'. Certains préfèrent le laisser en anglais.

: That completely changes the meaning of the s/t; sadly, these are only supplying leads to the sales dept., who are going to have to do the 'converting' bit — and far from automatically, I suspect! / ?????

Sorry, Tony but this is the advice that could be given to a representative who would not use them. I myself often been confronted with this problem! Of course, it takes a lot of time and work from filling in the form to a new account!

: Not really, as it would have to be 'forms of doing', not 'to' (otherwise it would need to be 'ways to do'); and wouldn't really make a great deal of sense here anyway, I don't think.
