I would suggest you put that glossary in the dunce corner and leave it there; or use it with extreme caution.
It’s a problem common to many glossaries - a term that is perfectly valid in a specific limited context is often presented as "one-fit-all" translation potentially leading to some really comic effects like Monaco extending its territory or Hong Kong building its airport on polders or London considering to build a new airport on polders(?) in the Thames Estuary.
Sinon, vous pourriez penser à étendues d'eau aussi.
