Spanish term

régimen de mantenimiento

Spanish to English Tech/Engineering Engineering (general)
Hello. This from a description of a domestic heating cooker:

"Equipada con elevador de parrilla y cubreencimera calorifugada para aprovechar mejor el calor de la calefacción en régimen de mantenimiento."

Thanks for your help

OK Simon! I certainly wasn't convinced posting it as an answer anyway, because it's a) very similar to what has already been proposed, and b) I much prefer Lorena's solution anyway (despite the link! :))) but just wanted to bring up the possibility as it seems fairly standard… although not perhaps for the right type of "cooker".
Simon Bruni (asker) Dec 6, 2013:
Hi Rachel. Thanks for you input. I know what you mean about "maintenance", but "keep warm mode", if you click into the links, is used for electric rice cookers. These things are big log-fuelled heating stoves with ovens and hobs, like an Aga but more modern.
Rachael West Dec 5, 2013:
Hello, I honestly don't mean to nit-pick, and I like Lorena's suggestion, but I can't help thinking that "maintenance" in English tends to imply "upkeep" more than "keep". As far as the translation is concerned, on google it seems to suggest that the most common term for this is "keep warm mode". Which does seem much less sophisticated than Lorena's (good) idea, but I can't help feeling dubious about "maintenance". If you click into (at least) the first link offered, the translation of the entire website definitely hasn't been done by a native (it's quite amusing).

o.k. Neil I'll post it as an answer ;-)

I'd agree with Lorena but the discussion area doesn't have an agree button ;@)
Nice solution.
Simon Bruni (asker) Dec 3, 2013:
Thanks, Lorena "temperature maintenance mode" makes perfect sense in the context.
lorenab23 Dec 3, 2013:
Not my area But I wonder if they mean "maintenance mode"
