I've come across products that say "dermatologically tested" on them and I'm not sure what that means exactly. I'm maybe a bit stupid for not knowing - forgive me for not being an expert!
Does this mean the company tests on animals? Is it nothing to do with that at all? Help me, I'm confused!
Literally "tested on skin".

It tells you nothing about how the tests are done though, or on what or who.
