Depending on the plants, this hydrolysed and saccharified starch milk is entirely or partially brought to the fermentation workshop where it is further processed with yeasts to achieve a 10°-alcoholic “wine”.
The final step consists of distillation: the alcohol (92% vol.) obtained goes through other purification steps (rectification) to achieve the final product:
GNS (Grain Neutral Spirits) at 96%.
