PED

Spanish to English Medical Medical (general)
I have a list of documents submitted for review to a scientific ethics committee in Chile. One document is called "CI Especial del Estudio para Chile... " followed by "basado en PED fecha 06FEB2013. CI is Informed Consent. PED could be EDP (electronic data processing) but I'm not fully convinced.

Any ideas?

No, Joseph, I already looked. And I can only find it on Google referring to informed consent, which further convinces me that it has nothing to do with data processing.

Look in your document Is there anything named elsewhere in your documents that has the initials PED? This could refer to some very specific document/test/form related to the study.

It could be some sort of law or resolution. As such, I probably wouldn't translate it.

It could be a law on:

EDP - Electronic data protection
