Explanation:
it would be a shame to truncate and lose the literary imagery of the author's hope encrypted into messages that she hopes the readers will capture those messages and assimilate the concepts which they (the messages) enclose (hide).

Also I don't think it will be possible to finish the translation without the key element of the encryption/encoding as it will leave a gap of meaning which is directly attached to the end concept.
